CANDLE CARE AND SAFETY
Candles use an open flame. Remove packaging and place the candle upright on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface away from curtains, paper, bedding, furniture and other flammable material. Keep away from children, pets, drafts, fans, air-conditioners and open windows. Trim the wick to about 6 mm before each burn unless the label says otherwise. Do not burn a cracked or damaged container.
Burning Instructions
Never leave a burning candle unattended. Keep it within sight. Do not move or touch it while wax is liquid or the container is hot. Do not burn for more than 3–4 hours at a time unless the label states a shorter maximum. On the first burn, allow the melt pool to approach the container edge where safely possible without exceeding the maximum time. Keep the wax free of debris. Candles are for room fragrance only.
Safety & Sensitivities
Extinguish carefully and confirm the flame and ember are out. Let the container cool before touching. Stop use when about 1.2 cm of wax remains, or earlier if directed. Never add water, fragrance oil or foreign material to hot wax. Fragrance sensitivity varies. Stop use and ventilate if discomfort, headache, irritation or breathing difficulty occurs, and seek appropriate medical advice for persistent or serious symptoms. Candles are not medical or therapeutic products. Estimated burn times are approximate and depend on use: up to 12 hours for 50g, 24 hours for 100g and 47 hours for 200g, subject to final product testing and the label.
